Northland Concrete & Masonry (NCM) is a leading commercial concrete and masonry contractor specializing in complex commercial, industrial, institutional, and large-scale construction projects. Our work includes foundations, structural concrete, slabs, formwork, masonry, and specialty scopes.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team and support our field crews on commercial construction projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist concrete and masonry crews with daily construction activities
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
  • Assist with concrete placement, forming, stripping, and cleanup
  • Help prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
  • Assist carpenters, finishers, masons, and other skilled tradespeople as directed
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely
  • Perform general construction duties as needed to support the crew
  • Follow jobsite safety requirements and company policies
  • Work as part of a team to meet project schedules and quality expectations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent

  • Previous construction experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew
  • Commitment to working safely
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and climbing
  • Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
  • Union membership or eligibility to join the appropriate trade union
