Staff Accountant A CPA firm is seeking a staff accountant. Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping tasks (journal entries, bank reconciliation, etc.) Process payroll reports and quarterly tax filings Compile financial statements Prepare and file individual and business tax returns Qualifications Quick learning ability, perform well under pressure, general math skills, deadline-oriented, attention to detail. Excel proficiency. Quickbooks, Lacerte experience a huge plus. Familiar with US GAAP and tax codes. OPT/CPT/OPT Extension OK.
